The Balvenie 15 Year Madeira Cask is an exceptional single malt Scotch whisky crafted by The Balvenie Distillery, located in Scotland’s Speyside region. Founded in 1892, the distillery is renowned for its dedication to traditional craftsmanship, including on-site floor malting, copper stills, and oak casks handcrafted by its own coopers, which contribute to the whisky’s distinctive refined character. This expression belongs to The Balvenie’s Cask Finishes series, initially matured for 15 years in traditional American oak casks before undergoing a finishing period in casks previously used for Madeira, a fortified Portuguese wine, which imparts unique fruit and layered flavors. The whisky is bottled at 43% alcohol by volume, non-chill-filtered to preserve its natural oils and rich texture.
