Distillery History:Decadent Drinks is a UK independent bottler known for the humorous “Marketing Malt” series, which features undisclosed high-quality Speyside single malts (widely understood to be Macallan). The series focuses on excellent sherry cask maturation.

Whisky Introduction:The Marketing Malt 17 Year Old 2008/2026 is matured in first-fill sherry hogsheads and bottled at 57.1% without chill-filtration. It delivers rich, sultry sherry character with dark fruits and chocolate – a modern, bold expression in the series.

Tasting Notes:Nosing: Rich and sweet with raisins, figs, dark chocolate, coffee beans and cinnamon.Palate: Full-bodied – stewed black fruits, dark chocolate, toasted almonds, molasses and oak spice.Finish: Long, warm and lingering with dark dried fruits, chocolate, coffee and gentle spice.
