Glendronach 12 Year Old Sherry Cask Matured is a Highland single malt Scotch whisky from Glendronach Distillery, matured exclusively in a combination of Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso sherry casks from Spain for at least 12 years, bottled at 43% ABV without chill-filtration or added coloring to preserve its natural richness. Under the guidance of Master Blender Rachel Barrie since 2017, this recent edition refines the distillery's signature sherry-forward style, offering a robust yet elegant profile that balances intense fruitiness with subtle spice and oak depth, making it an ideal entry for sherry cask enthusiasts. The sherry influence imparts luxurious sweetness and complexity, drawing from PX casks' raisin-like richness and Oloroso's nutty dryness, resulting in a versatile dram suitable for sipping neat, with a drop of water to unfold layers, or in cocktails like a Rob Roy.
