酒廠歷史：
Linkwood位於Speyside的Elgin，1821年由Peter Brown建立，1874年由其子重建。1930年代經John McEwan併入DCL，現屬Diageo，大量進入Johnnie Walker等調和。1971至1972年另建Linkwood B，由兩座蒸餾器增至六座，至1980年代中與舊廠並行。此瓶標「Famous Morayshire Distillery」，屬擴產前舊廠風格，官方單桶麥芽當時極少見。

酒款介紹：
標Over 12 Years Pure Linkwood Highland Malt Whisky，Distilled & Matured at the distillery。70 proof、26⅔ fl oz。「Pure Malt」是當時用語，相當於現今單一麥芽。拍賣紀錄形容為蠟質、油潤、果香與花香。

酒款味道：
聞香（Nosing）：麥芽、青蘋果、白花與蜂蠟。
口感（Palate）：油潤，梨與蜂蜜，木質克制。
餘韻（Finish）：中等，花香與淡蠟。
