Distillery: Linkwood, located near Elgin in Speyside, is renowned for producing delicate, fruit-forward single malt whiskies with floral notes. Its style typically features apple, pear, vanilla, and light malty sweetness, a classic Speyside representative often used in blends but equally exceptional as a single malt.

Bottler: Founded in 1988, Signatory Vintage is celebrated for selecting premium single casks and bottling them at or near cask strength. The Symington’s Choice series, its premium line, features rare casks handpicked by founder Andrew Symington, emphasizing quality and uniqueness.

Expression: This Linkwood 15 Year Old was distilled in 2009, matured in a single cask (Cask #2), and bottled in 2025 as part of the Symington’s Choice series, showcasing Speyside’s refined character and cask influence.

Maturation and Characteristics
Maturation Period: Distilled in 2009 and bottled after 15 years, achieving a balanced and richly layered flavor profile.

Cask Type: Single cask (Cask #2), matured in a first-fill sherry cask, imparting rich fruit and spice notes.
