Distillery History:Mars Whisky is produced by Hombo Shuzo at Komagatake Distillery in Nagano. The Lucky Cat series features the distillery’s resident cats; Double Individuals releases celebrate two cats with contrasting personalities in one harmonious blend.

Whisky Introduction:Mars The Lucky Cat Double Individuals Choco & Luna is the 12th edition, inspired by the affectionate Choco and the more independent Luna. A blended whisky of malt and grain from multiple origins, bottled at 43% in a limited run of about 10,000 bottles, it balances sweet chocolate notes with a wild, structured finish.

Tasting Notes:Nosing: Sweet and warm with milk chocolate, hinoki, whole-wheat biscuit and mashed potato.Palate: Rounded and smooth – chocolate croissant, firm pudding and bergamot.Finish: Deep sweetness with a clean, refreshing aftertaste.
