This Springbank 10 Year Old Amontillado Cask Matured is a Campbeltown single malt whisky at 55% ABV, non-chill filtered with natural color, cask strength, limited yield, highly rare. Aged 5 years in refill bourbon barrels then 5 years in fresh Amontillado sherry casks for unique dry sherry influence. It features a deep amber color; the nose offers dried fruits, leather, sweet and sour fruitiness, pipe tobacco, cherry wood, smouldering embers, and mushrooms. The palate is full and smooth, layering spicy, sweet, orange bitter, wood, dry fruity, heavy fruits, and subtle oak. The finish is long, carrying rich, full-bodied mouthfeel with tropical hints, exemplifying Springbank's light smoke fused with Amontillado sherry depth, ideal for savoring or with water.
