Distillery History:Tankyu Distillery in Higashikawa, Hokkaido, focuses on local ingredients and innovation. Yuki no Mado (“Window of Snow”) is their debut gin, inspired by the pure snowmelt of Asahidake.

Gin Introduction:Yuki no Mado is a dry gin using snowmelt water from Asahidake and local rice koji as base, combined with 14 botanicals including todohashi (Japanese fir) young leaves. It offers a clean, crisp profile with distinctive Hokkaido character.

Tasting Notes:Nosing: Fresh juniper, citrus, fir needles and gentle rice/floral notes.Palate: Dry and crystalline with balanced citrus, juniper and subtle koji umami.Finish: Clean and lingering with citrus and herbal freshness.
