龍の落とし子是名種米混種後的改良版優質米，母系是優質釀酒名米「美山錦」，父系是「山酒4號」，祖父母是「金紋錦」和「山田錦」。「諸白」是古時日本人對清酒的稱呼，是高階清酒的代名詞，「白」的意思是純正、來表達清酒的清爽味道，代表高等米的「諸白」水平、也代表碾磨後的米色和清酒季節的降雪。

開瓶後，會散發出麝香葡萄系的高雅香氣，甜美與清爽感交織而成，輕柔地瀰漫開來。入口時，帶有十四代一貫的上品細緻甜味，但絕不會過於甜膩。中後段隱約浮現出淡淡的酸味，讓整體風味收尾清爽俐落。餘韻雖然低調，卻令人忍不住一口接一口，回味無窮。
