Brewery History:Tatenogawa Shuzo, founded in 1873 in Sakata, Yamagata, is one of the “Four Kings” of Yamagata sake. The “33” series represents their pinnacle, using Dewa Sansan rice polished to 33%.
Sake Introduction:The Tatenogawa 33 Junmai Daiginjo is brewed with 100% Dewa Sansan rice at 33% polishing. It showcases the rice’s gorgeous fruit character and refined umami through low-temperature fermentation and Yamagata’s soft water.
Tasting Notes:Nosing: Gorgeous with white peach, lychee, melon, banana and delicate floral notes.Palate: Rounded and full with rich fruit sweetness, delicate rice umami and soft acidity.Finish: Clean, long and refreshing with lingering fruit and mineral elegance.
