Aberlour Distillery was founded in 1879 by James Fleming in the Speyside village of Aberlour. He was a respected local philanthropist and entrepreneur. A'bunadh (Gaelic for "The Original") was launched in 1997 to recreate the distillery's traditional sherry-influenced style using first-fill Oloroso sherry butts, hand-crafted in small batches without chill-filtration, honoring the founder's heritage.

This is Batch 80 of the classic A'bunadh series, matured exclusively in first-fill Spanish Oloroso sherry butts, bottled at cask strength, non-chill-filtered. It is a quintessential "Sherry Bomb" with robust sherry character; each batch is hand-selected with slight variations.
