Distillery History:Arran Distillery was founded in 1995 on the Isle of Arran and is one of Scotland’s youngest traditional single malt distilleries. Known for its elegant, unpeated style with vibrant fruit and honey notes, the 25 Year Old marks the distillery’s milestone anniversary.

Whisky Introduction:The Arran 25 Year Old celebrates 25 years of production using spirit from 1995. Matured primarily in bourbon casks with sherry influence and a final sherry hogshead finish, it is bottled at 46% without chill-filtration or added colour – a refined, complex expression of Arran’s maturing character.

Tasting Notes:Nosing: Rich oak with gentle nutmeg, baked ripe figs, sultanas and black cherries.Palate: Fruit cake with toasted almonds and cinnamon. Juicy orange and mandarin zest mellowed with manuka honey, muscovado sugar, baked apricots and white pepper.Finish: Creamy and spicy with dark chocolate, walnuts and dark fruit compote.
