Càrn Mòr is the independent bottling range of Morrison Scotch Whisky Distillers, focusing on strictly limited single cask single malts. The Morrison family has been involved in whisky since the 1950s; Càrn Mòr is known for selecting premium casks, no caramel colouring, and no chill-filtration to preserve natural character.

Clynelish Distillery, located near Brora in the Northern Highlands, was founded in 1819 and is renowned for its signature waxy texture, coastal minerality and citrus profile under Diageo.

Càrn Mòr Clynelish 2014 German Exclusive is a Germany-only limited release. Distilled in 2014 and bottled in 2025 at 11 years old from a single ex-Bourbon Hogshead at cask strength (~55.6% ABV). Part of the Strictly Limited series with very few bottles, it highlights Clynelish’s classic waxy and tropical character without chill-filtration or added colouring.

Tasting Notes

Nosing: Bright and vibrant with tropical fruits, pineapple and vanilla leading, layered with honeyed beeswax and subtle citrus peel—elegant and energetic.

Palate: Full-bodied with sweet tropical fruit, vanilla, honey and pronounced waxiness; mineral notes and gentle oak integrate smoothly with oily texture.

Finish: Medium to long, clean with lingering wax, citrus and light oak echoes; balanced and harmonious. A classic expression of Clynelish’s waxy style, ideal neat or with a drop of water.
