Producer History:Don Julio was founded in 1942 in Jalisco, Mexico by Don Julio González. The distillery uses traditional methods with Blue Weber agave, stone milling and copper pot stills to produce refined, terroir-driven tequilas. The 1942 expression is the flagship, known for its elegant and balanced profile.

Tequila Introduction:Don Julio 1942 is a premium Añejo tequila (aged longer than standard Reposado at 2-12 months or Añejo at minimum 1 year). At 38% ABV and matured in American oak barrels, it delivers rich vanilla, caramel and agave sweetness with a smoother, more complex texture than typical expressions in its category.
