Domaine François Carillon was established in 2010 when the historic Carillon family estate in Puligny-Montrachet was divided between brothers François and Jacques after their father Louis retired. The family has cultivated vines here since the 16th century (records from 1520). François, who managed the vineyards since 1988, now stewards around 6.5 hectares, focusing on precision and purity to produce elegant, mineral-driven Chardonnay that exemplifies Puligny’s classic style.

Wine Introduction:The 2018 Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru Les Champs Gains comes from a 2-hectare high-slope plot with chalky limestone soils. A strong vintage delivered concentration and balance. Matured with limited new oak, it showcases refined citrus, white fruit and floral notes with Puligny’s signature minerality – a precise, age-worthy expression of the cru.
