Glendronach Distillery was established in 1826 by James Allardice in Forgue, Aberdeenshire, Scotland's Highland region. Acquired by William Teacher & Sons in 1960, modernized in 2005 by switching to steam-heated stills as Scotland's last. Purchased by Benriach Company in 2008, reviving the core range, and by Brown-Forman in 2016. The Parliament 21YO was discontinued in 2024, relaunched in 2025 as Sherry Cask Matured with new design.

This Glendronach 21 Year Old Sherry Cask Matured is a Highland single malt whisky, aged for 21 years in a combination of Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez sherry casks. At 48% ABV, it is non-chill filtered with natural color. It displays a deep amber with cherry wood sheen; the nose blends ripe autumnal fruits like blackberries and red plums, rich Oloroso sherry, candied orange segments, spiced oatmeal biscuits, and toasted oak. The palate is resolute and full-bodied, with Oloroso sherry and bitter chocolate sauce over homemade plum pudding, infused with cinnamon, allspice, and nutmeg, featuring smooth tannins. Overall, it offers fruit-laden, richly sherried profiles with excellent balance and weight, ideal for savoring.
