初代[響]雖沒標明年份，但融合山崎蒸餾廠熟成20年以上的30種麥芽原酒調和而成， 「和諧」、「共鳴」是日本對「響」的解釋。

瓶身上24切割面代表了一天24小時，一年24個節氣。由日本知名書法家荻野丹雪揮毫[響]在高級越前紙上。
