Distillery History:The Macallan was founded in 1824 in Speyside and is renowned for its sherry cask maturation. The Classic Cut series releases annually different strengths and cask profiles, showcasing Macallan’s flavour exploration and innovation.

Whisky Introduction:The Macallan Classic Cut 2024 is matured in sherry and American oak casks and bottled at 48.6% without chill-filtration. It delivers rich dried fruit, honey and toasted oak with Macallan’s classic sweetness and citrus – a balanced Speyside single malt.

Tasting Notes:Nosing: Rich and sweet with dried fruits, honey, vanilla, toasted oak and subtle citrus.Palate: Full and oily – dried fruits, dark chocolate, cinnamon, toffee and oak with sweet-spicy balance.Finish: Long, warm and lingering with dried fruit, spice and soft oak.
