Distillery History:Miyagikyo Distillery was founded by Nikka in 1969 in the mountainous Miyagi Prefecture. Known for its elegant, fruity and floral style, the 2026 10 Year Old marks the return of an age-stated expression from the distillery after a decade.

Whisky Introduction:The Miyagikyo 10 Year Old 2026 is matured mainly in bourbon casks with sherry influence. Bottled at 45%, it showcases the distillery’s signature bright fruit and floral character enhanced by 10 years of maturation.

Tasting Notes:Nosing: Bright and layered with pineapple, mango, white peach, green apple and gentle floral vanilla notes.Palate: Smooth and rounded with tropical fruits, vanilla, baking spices and malty sweetness.Finish: Medium-long, clean with lingering fruit, vanilla and soft oak.
