Monochrome Essence reflects the idea that maturation is a process of loss leading to definition. The final whisky is what remains after time, wood, and patience have removed what is unnecessary.

Monochrome Essence #2 – Aultmore 14 Years Old

A classic, bare-bones Aultmore in its purest form. Matured in a refill bourbon barrel, the wood acts as a neutral vessel, allowing the liquid to mature slowly without imparting excessive influence. Sweet corn, citrus, maltose, herbs, chicken broth and camphor integrate well into the whisky’s essence.
