Alfred Tesseron, taking over in 1994, transformed the estate into a Médoc leader through organic and biodynamic practices.
• Location: Situated adjacent to Château Mouton Rothschild, the 120-hectare estate includes 81 hectares of vineyards on Garonne gravel soils with limestone bedrock, ideal for Cabernet Sauvignon. The wine aged in 50% new French oak barrels, 35% concrete amphorae (made from estate limestone), and 15% once-used barrels, enhancing minerality and reducing oak influence. Alcohol is 14.7%, with a pH of 3.85.
