Crystallum The Agnes Chardonnay is a multi-vineyard blended white wine produced by Crystallum Wines, a boutique winery in South Africa specializing in Chardonnay and Pinot Noir from the Hemel-en-Aarde Valley and surrounding regions. This wine is named in honor of Agnes Floyd, the winemaker's great-grandmother, who emigrated to South Africa at age 14 and is noted as the first woman to hold a driver's license in Cape Town. It reflects her resilience through a harmonious blend of grapes from various vineyards, emphasizing complexity and balance. The latest release is from the 2024 vintage, showcasing a traditional yet precise approach to winemaking.

### Product Specifications
This wine is crafted from 100% Chardonnay grapes sourced from select vineyards in the Hemel-en-Aarde and Overberg regions. The production process involves transferring whole grape clusters directly into the press, followed by natural fermentation in 228-liter and 500-liter French oak barrels, as well as foudres, with no additions of SO2 or enzymes prior to fermentation. It is aged for nine months before bottling. Key technical details for the 2024 vintage include an alcohol content of 13.56% ABV, pH of 3.20, total acidity of 6.7 g/L, total sulphites of 79 mg/L, and residual sugar of 3.9 g/L.
